Power Apps is a Microsoft product to build low code / no code applications.  It is part of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Portal, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft M365 and Dynamics 365).   Power Apps is most commonly used to automate back office processes and provide self-service portal capability.  The Power Apps Dataverse provides robust secure data storage and in conjunction with Power BI visualisations can provide insights for decision makers.

We typically separate the overall project costs into build/configuration (often referred to as capex) and license costs (opex). License costs vary depending on the number of users, usage and functionality required.  Most common license model is pay as you go and typically range from about $30 to over $100 per user per month.  We are not a license reseller, and we can't always predict your usage so we provide best estimates of the Microsoft license costs that you will incur.  

Power Platform applications are Software as a Service, meaning that the platform, its underlying technology and infrastructure is always up-to-date.  However, we recommend a health check every 6-12 months so we can highlight new product features that may be of interest to you.  We also recognise that business needs change over time so we want to be able to identify these and scope out any potential system enhancements.  Contact us for details on maintenance contracts.
